Before Printing the Exam

  • Every page has a visible, consistent page number.
  • Every question has a clearly bordered answer box.
  • First page includes student name and ID fields.
  • Two exam files saved: one complete (with solutions and rubric) and one blank.
QR Codes and Printing (complete before exam is printed)
  • Blank exam template PDF uploaded to Uflo via Import Submissions.
  • QR code placement and visibility confirmed in preview.
  • Exam printed from the QR-coded PDF at 100% scale.

Before Administering the Exam

Phase 2Full guide
  • Complete exam file (with solutions and rubric) imported to Uflo.
  • Imported questions, solutions, and rubric reviewed and verified.
  • Regrade policy established and ready to communicate to students.

Before Grading

Phase 3Full guide
  • Exams collected, disassembled, and scanned at 300 as a single multi-page PDF.
  • Scan reviewed (sample pages) and uploaded to Uflo.
  • Flagged or unmatched submissions resolved manually.

Grading Submissions

Phase 4Full guide
  • AI grading run and a sample of scores reviewed.
  • Rubric issues diagnosed and fixed using the refinement guide. Affected questions regraded.
  • Grades released to students.

After Grading

Phase 5Full guide
  • Regrade window set in assessment config and policy communicated to students.
  • Regrade requests reviewed within the established deadline.
  • Score changes documented with comments in Uflo.
