How Responses Are Graded

  • Text blanks: Exact match, though capitalization and extra spaces don’t affect matching.
  • Number matching: Numerical equivalence. 5 and 5.0, are treated as the same answer.
  • Partial credit: Questions with multiple blanks, allow you to earn credit for correct entries, even if others are incorrect.
Use the exact requested word or value. Extra explanations or a synonyms may result in no credit.
