Work through unfamiliar ideas by asking questions about your document or recording.
Use Chat to explore a topic in your material, ask for another example, or clarify a difficult passage.
You can ask a question in your own words or select the exact text or image you want to discuss.
Open your material and select Chat in the study panel.
Choose an existing conversation or use the new-chat button to start one.

Send a Focused Question
Describe what you want to understand and select SEND.
The conversation has the file as context.
Mention the page, passage, or recording moment when your question concerns a specific part.
Ask a focused question, then use a follow-up to explore the explanation. Example conversation.

Continue the Discussion
Ask a follow-up if you need a simpler explanation or another example.
Wait for the response to finish before sending another message or starting a new chat.
To return later, open the same file’s Chat panel and select the conversation from Chats.
Connect your question to what confused you.
For example: “Why does water leave the cell in this example?” gives Uflo a clearer starting point than “Explain osmosis.”
Revisit the original passage as you work through the response.
Select text in the document or transcript.
The text toolbar appears with actions for that selection.

Ask for an Explanation
Open Expand, then choose Explain.
Uflo sends the selected text and its page or recording context to Chat.
Read the response there and continue with a follow-up if needed.
Select a passage, then choose Expand → Explain.

Show the Relevant Content
Open the document page or pause the recording at the part you want to discuss.

Capture the Area
Open Screenshot and choose Explain Image or Explain Math.
Crop the area you want Uflo to focus on, then confirm the selection to send it to Chat.
Choose an explanation tool before cropping the diagram or equation.
Open Attachments beside the input and select Add Image, or paste an image into the conversation.
Check the attachment and add a question before sending it.
For another document or recording, upload it through Personal Files and open that file’s Chat.
Can I change the response language or level of detail?
Open the settings control beside the input.
Adjust Language, Writing Level, or Response Length, then select outside the panel to apply the changes.
