Answer a drawing question with a clear, labeled sketch or diagram
A drawing question asks you to show your answer on the whiteboard beneath the prompt. Your response may be a sketch, or a labeled diagram depending on what the question requests.
Identify what you need to draw and which labels, directions, or measurements the question requests. If a starting diagram is already present, build on it as instructed.

Create and Label Your Drawing
Draw in the response canvas. Combine freehand strokes with shapes, arrows, and typed labels as needed. Use the whiteboard guide for detailed instructions on connecting arrows, grouping related parts, arranging shapes, and annotating images.
This response uses arrows and labels to show the two forces acting on a stationary object.

Check the Complete Answer
Check that labels are readable and that every requested part is present. Include units wherever the question asks for measurements. Remove stray marks that could be mistaken for part of your answer.
Uflo uses an image of your drawing to evaluate the response against the question’s grading criteria. Keep all parts of your answer on the same whiteboard page: the image captures the current page, including objects outside your current view.
Use the zoom menu’s Zoom to fit option to inspect the whole page before moving on. If you add a written explanation, put it on the canvas with the text tool so it appears with the drawing.
Any drawing created inside of the Socratic Tutor will not be used for grading. Put your final answer in the question’s response area.
