Find the main ideas, explore difficult sections, and choose a way to study that fits the topic.
Uflo offers several ways to work through the same material.
Start with a summary to get your bearings, then use section notes, mindmaps, or audio to explore the parts that need more attention.
Open your material and look at the tabs in its study panel.
Summary covers the file as a whole.
Notes organizes the material into sections and holds the other available section tools.
The tools you see depend on what was selected for the file and whether processing has finished.
For your own material, choose study tools when uploading.
Select Summary for a short overview of the material.
Use it before reading to identify the main ideas, or afterward to connect what you have learned.
Summary gives you an overview of the whole file.
Select Notes and find the section by its title, page range, or recording time range.
A section may include a short overview and other study tools.
Expand Notes within the section for a fuller explanation.
The section header connects the notes to the relevant part of your material.
Select a page number or timestamp to revisit the original material.
To move to another section, open the contents icon on the left of the section header.
These tools appear inside Notes when they are available for your file.
Choose the one that helps you work through the topic.

A mindmap shows how ideas in a section connect.
Select a filled or hollow branch circle to expand or collapse its details.
Choose Expand To View Full Mindmap when you need more room.
Expand branches to explore the relationships between ideas.
Select Play to listen to the section’s podcast.
Use the progress bar to jump to a point, or Back 10s to hear an explanation again.
The speed control lets you adjust the pace.
Listen to a section and revisit a passage with the playback controls.
A visualization lets you explore an idea visually.
Expand it for more room and read its instructions before using its controls.
Each visualization is built around the section’s topic, so its controls can differ.
Open the contents icon in a Notes section header.
Leave Sync Document With Notes checked to follow the page you are reading or the current recording position.
Clear it when you want to browse the notes independently.
The contents drawer lets you jump between sections and control synchronization.
Keep Notes open while following along.
Synchronization uses the page or time ranges attached to each section.
Why are Notes or another study tool missing?
Wait for the file to finish processing, then reopen it.
If the tool is still unavailable for course material, ask your instructor whether it was included.
For a personal upload, you can upload another copy with the tools selected.
