After grades are released, students may request a review of their score on one or more questions. Uflo supports both manual and AI-powered regrade workflows.

Receiving, Reviewing and Adjusting Scores Manually

Students can flag questions for regrade in Uflo with a written explanation. Pending requests appear in the Regrade Requests panel. If your institution handles regrades through email or a separate form, you can apply score changes manually. To adjust a score:
1

Open Assessment

Open the assessment and navigate to the student’s submission.
2

Review Student Response

Locate the flagged question and review the scanned response and score breakdown.
3

Respond to the Request

Add a comment explaining the change to create a transparent record with the student.
4

Save Response

Uflo automatically recalculates the total exam score. If the score increases, the regrade is marked as successful; otherwise it is marked as rejected.
Best PracticeDocument every regrade decision with a comment, even if the score doesn’t change. This creates a transparent record if the decision is later questioned.

Reviewing and Adjusting Scores with AI

In rare situations, you may need to regrade a question for all students. To do this:
1

Modify the Question

Navigate to the question, open the actions menu and select edit.
2

Regrade Question

Then open the regrade menu and select Regrade Question For All Students.
Avoid Regrading Questions For All Student After Grades Are ReleasedWhen regrading a question for all students, Uflo re-runs its grading AI which means, similar to humans, there may be some fluctuations to student scores. This means that some students scores may get lowered. Be careful when taking this action.
